In the second period, Brandon Campos evened the score on the power play banging home his own rebound after taking an Evan Pighin pass from behind the Seattle net. Oscar Moller then gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead, firing home his 26th goal of the season over the right shoulder of Seattle goaltender Riku Helenius from 35 feet out. The lead was short lived, as Ottawa Senators first round pick Jim O'Brien tied the game just 29 seconds later. The second period ended 2-2.

In the third, Chilliwack did all the scoring. Two goals by Nick Holden 1:50 apart gave the Bruins a 4-2 lead at the 4:37 mark. David Robinson rounded out the scoring, putting the puck into the empty Seattle net with 1:07 left on the third period clock.
