Friesen Nominated for CHL Goaltender of the Week

Bruins goaltender Mark Friesen has been nominated for the Canadian Hockey League Player of the Week Award.

Friesen helped the Bruins earn a split in Prince George on the weekend, stopping 60 of the 63 shots directed his way.

Friday night, he made 20 saves in a 1-0 loss. On Saturday he was named the game's first star after making 40 saves in a 3-2 Bruins victory.

Friesen now has a save percentage of 91.0 and a goals against average of 2.74 in 12 appearances this season.
