Bruins Add Two Players

The Chilliwack Bruins announced today that defenseman Brandon Manning (90) and forward Kevin Sundher (92) will join the team for the balance of the season and playoffs. Manning has just completed his playoffs with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL. Manning, a 6'1" 175 pound defender, is a Prince George BC product and will join fellow PG resident Ryan Howse on the Bruins. Manning collected seven goals and nineteen assists for twenty six points and also amassed 108 PIM this past season. Manning also posted three assists in four playoff games for the Spruce Kings.

Sundher, the Bruins first round draft pick, seventh overall, in the 2007 WHL Bantam draft, has just completed his season with the West Valley Hawks in the BC Major Midget League. Sundher, a 5'11" centre, is a Surrey BC resident who notched twenty goals and thirty four assists for 54 points in forty games played this season for the Hawks. Sundher also played five games for the Chilliwack Bruins so far this season, posting an assist on the game tying goal in the Bruins 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings back in mid-February.
